I got these Metheny shows from a trader called Lisardo in Argentina. He had a huge collection, and I asked him to send me his best-quality shows. Few have lineage details, but they are all excellent or very good quality. - godzgolfball (2021)

Comments:

A lot of the chatter you hear was generated by one guy two places along from me.  He had a big mouth and I did ask him to be quiet once but he obviously found it very difficult.  He seemed to want to show off for his girlfriend, unlike the two infront of me who were busy exploring each other's throat in between boogieing.

To the best of our knowledge, no other version of this concert has ever been circulated.

Recording Notes:

The recording was made from second row left (facing the stage). One mike was pointed at the stack in front of us and the other at the stage. It demonstrates the problems of being too close to the PA but I still give it an EX.

Source for t1: Unknown Audience Recording > ? > FLAC
Original notes: "explosive AUD; only one track, it`s be nice to hear more complete...irie!"

Source for t2 through 10: SBD > 3rd Generation Cassette [Maxell XLII] > Kenwood 1050CT > Xitel Inport USB > WAV > FLAC
Original Notes: "For a board tape, this one pretty much sucks. The vocal are VERY low, the drums come through very clear??/I'm not complaining about that..But most want to hear Bob especially on such a great performance as this one.. Nothing done to this straight transfer...Bass is a little heavy and some hiss is present.."
Transfer done on August 2rd, 2006 by T.Jones

Additional lineage for t2 through t10:
Izotope RX9 [DC Offset removal & Azimuth] > Audacity [for speed correction, normalization & tagging] > WAV 16bit > TLH [fix SBE's & encoded to FLAC]

Notes:
- First show of the Exodus Tour & Junior Marvin's first show as a Wailer.
- Tracks 2 through 10 was mislabeled as the 2nd Rainbow Theater concert [June 2nd], and is known to most reggae collectors as "the low vocals show". The last two tracks of that mislabled show [Get Up Stand Up & Exodus] is from May 13th, Den Haag, Netherlands.
- Count Prince Miller was the MC for the entire Exodus Tour
- Half of No Woman & No Cry & Positive Vibration is plagued by tape speed which is left as it originally was.
