Nick is back in action

Thanks, Evan. The back surgery in mid July changed my routine quite a bit and I'm easing back into normalcy. I was also having some issues with HQ Player, but those are mostly resolved. I also gave Leo the ok the have his mono tour amps shipped to me next. Stay tuned, but the sound right now is pretty darn good already...

Good to hear you are mobile. I listed my ultra for sale. I want to buy the mono amps. No rush I will see if the Ultra will sell.

Yes and I am quite grateful for the improvement. Good luck on the Ultra sale and Last I recall reading the mono amps were supposed to be available in September. Any idea if/when they will ship?

Enoch Light was an interesting character.  He was a pioneer in using 35mm film instead of RTR tape in recording sessions.  His Command Records classical recordings are some of the best in an era of great recordings by RCA and Mercury.  Find his Beethoven Sym set with the Pittsburg Sym. led by William Steinberg.    Excellent and very undervalued.

Didn't see your post until now. I have a few Enoch Light CDs. Didn't really know much about him, other than I had some of his music. Very interesting about using the 35mm film. That's the only time I've ever heard that mentioned and I'm not aware of anybody else who has done that.
