Maurice White "Can't Hide Love"  with Earth Wind and Fire.  Where are the new artists like this? Are they ALL checked out? Any new ones checking in? New music doesn't do this to me. Still got all my original EWF vinyl LPs!

Today is Mozarts BD. Radio is saturated. God help me. Will it ever end?!?!

Who listens to radio anymore? Don't you have enough choices between your CD's, www.lala.com, www.pandora.com, and satellite?
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.

Hey Bob! My radio station WCPE is 100kW with high quality compression and processing. They play only CDs, no mp3s. They play a lot of recorded classical concerts from around the country. I have a modded Sansui T717 with a dipole antenna up on the roof and Belden quad shield antenna wire. It sounds very, very nice. But when Mozart is in bloom I am on Pandora Bebop Station.  :thumb:

Bill O'Connell

A little Ottmar Liebert.   I wish his stuff was available on vinyl though.

Since my wife is out of town for the weekend, I have the re-issue " Brothers In Arms" remastered by Stan Ricker on vinyl that my lovely sister gave me for a Christmas present. I will crack the seal this evening along with a little Highland Park 12 year old Scotch.

Got both of these from my local library. Two very good recomendations. Looks like I may need to buy my own copies. Thanks guys  :thumb:

The Jack Johnson disc reminds me of some of the early David Wilcox albums.

Red Garland was Miles Davis' pianist in his first important band, with Coltrane, before Cannon.  He was a prize fighter and got Miles involved in boxing. This album is very laid back and sweet. Chambers bass solos are recorded excellently.  You will find your toes tapping to this one.
