2008 two CD 40th Anniversary collector's edition of Jethro Tull debut album. Disc One contains the mono version of the album, which has never been available on CD, plus nine BBC tracks from sessions which relate to the album. Disc Two features a new stereo mix of the album plus four bonus tracks from rare early singles: 'Sunshine Day', 'Song For John Gee', 'Love Story' and 'Christmas Song'. This release also features new liner notes and anecdotes from the band members.

KJ Denhert - Lucky 7 (CD)
- This woman has several releases to her credit, but this is the only one I own so I can;t sepak to the others. This is one group that sounds like a live band having the time of their lives, only it is captured on CD in a studio. Nothing amazingly memorable, but just a lot of good original music and a fun album. I think they play around the NY area at summer fests and such. Hard to classify this, maybe blues - folk . Gtta find more of her stuff.

Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim
Frank Sinatra, Antonio Carlos Jobin | Format: vinyl

Now this is different, Frank Sinatra singing to a Bossa Nova beat, kinda nice. Definately different, Frank's more low-key here, letting the music come to him rather than forcing it into the Sinatra 'formula'.

Music We Are (CD)
- Jack DeJohnette, John Patitucci and Danilo Perez
- Gotta be good with these guys, right? I really can't describe this music very well. I guess it's very much like ECM style jazz but with an American and not a European flavor.  Not straight ahead and not free jazz. Anyway, definitely worth checking out.

Time In
Dave Brubeck | Format: vinyl

Orange label import from England. The music a step behind Time Out, but that's not all together bad.

Geez - that's a kick in the pants, Amazon has the Brubeck samples tied to a male opera singer. I emailed them the need to correct that.

Thanks for the 'catch' Chris.  :thumb:
