I recently picked up the complete Art Tatum Solo and Group Masterpieces boxed sets that were issued by Pablo Records in the 1970s.

I have to be honest here.  Art Tatum is not one of my favorite jazz pianists.  His skill as a technical virtuoso is without peer.  However, as a stylist and expressionist I feel there were many pianists who had more to say musically: Bill Evans, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, Wynton Kelly, Oscar Peterson, Tommy Flanagan, McCoy Tyner, and Ahmad Jamal just to name a few.  But Tatum is a perennial favorite and appears at or near the top of many "greatest" lists.  What makes the Group Masterpieces set worthwhile to me is the musicians who join Tatum for these sessions.  At the moment I am listening to the last LP in the set, which features the tenor sax playing of Ben Webster.

Pablo Records stereo LP.  Great album.  This 1973 recording session features Eddie Lockjaw Davis and Zoot Sims on Tenor Sax, Harry "Sweets" Edison on Trumpet, Ray Brown on Bass, J.J. Johnson on Trombone, and Louis Bellson on drums.
