David Benoit: Professional Dreamer

Much more dynamic and forceful than I am used to hearing from Benoit. Sounds more like a recording from DMP than from GRP. Not that it's bad, I actally like it a lot, it's just not what I expected. Definitely worth a listen.

That is a bit different from what I normally listen to.  Pretty good though.  Reminds me of another band but can't think who it is.

Thanks to SteveB for this CD!  Edgar Meyer's bowed bass sounds great on the new speakers!

Rob S.

I agree, I use that one as a reference for clarity of bass.  :)   Glad the speakers are sounding good.

Love to watch this tread at work.  :thumb: Spreading the good word.....

Hey Rob, who is the drummer in your new avatar? The piture is small and hard to see in detail, but it kind of looks like the main character from the 1970s sitcom "What's Happening".
