Rick Craig gave me this CD, it is really cool. It's weird like Carlman's music, jazzy in a modern way, innovative, proud, moody, smart. Incredible recording quality for a studio session.

Rozsa Violin Concerto  Jascha Heifitz RCA Gold Seal

This is a beautiful concerto. Melodic, exciting, 20th century modern harmonies. Heifitz is on fire. Recording is good, lots of lovely string ring, wood and air, and compression, but not offensive. Nobody has a sound like that.

It is playing on the radio tonight, WCPE. Just realized the compression is probably the radio station. They do squeeze it pretty hard.
