Well, since I listened to one album featuring a Letterman side man I figured I had to give Leno and equal shot.

But you just have to like a guy who gives up a full time gig as music director for Leno and the Tonight Show because he wanted to return to his musical roots.

Yet another TV connection - Smitty was Kevin Eubanks' drummer in the Tonight Show Band.

It's funny, I did not plan for or seek out any of these TV connections. All of these albums were just in the pile of stuff I got at PREX last Sunday. I did  not even notice the connection myself until I started to play today's stack of selection.
