This is a quick video of the setup mentioned previously. The Raven Audio Silhouette mono blocs driven by the Harmonia used as a linestage seen in the floor between the amps. The Klipsch are on the outside of the Lintons.

Thanks, Jack. I don't believe I've ever owned efficient speakers. But frankly years ago I didn't really pay attention to such things as efficiency ratings. Having said that, I think the most efficient speakers that I can recall are the JMR that I have right now. They are rated at 88.5 db.

It would be interesting to try very high efficiency speakers and some reputable flea watt  amps. But right now I've spent enough money on my system and I just want to enjoy what I have for a while.

While my Verity's are not really "high efficiency" per se like a Klipsch, Volti, etc., they are easy to drive.  Many of the owners drive them quite easily in moderate rooms with SET amps.  Mine are easily driven by the 30wpc Music Reference RM-10. While the Singxer amps will drive the Rosso's and Qualio's easily they will show their limits quicker especially in the larger new room addition.  The Kinki monos and the 25s don't have those limits from what I've found.  For whatever reason the 25s seem to really like the Rosso's which are voiced similarly to Reynaud.

It's interesting how speakers react to amps.  My big line source speakers are quite efficient at 91 dB/1 watt @ 1m.
But with so many drivers creating back EMF, it take a big amp to make them sing clearly at normal volumes.   15 watts drives them to loud volumes, but 200 watts makes them much happier.

The same was true of all of Clayton Shaw's Spatial speakers which were advertised as being 90db plus efficient and an easy load for low powered tube amplifiers.  I owned both the M3 Turbo and still own the M3 Triode Master, which is boxed up in storage, and while you could in fact get background levels from them with low powered tube amps they didn't open up and sing without significant power. All manufacturers listed speaker efficiency specs should be taken with a very large grain of salt. They think publishing higher numbers increases sales.

I agree on the Spatials. The M3 Saphires are 92 db but really shine with the Ultra amp compared to my Quicksilvers at 4o watts and my Pass Labs at 50 watts. When talking with clayton last year about the tweeter issues, he actually told me he designed these speakers as a sixty year old plus speaker, someone that's going to be listening to jazz or maybe classical, not rock and roll. And I believe that's where the tweeter issues started.

I will also add that the only thing I didnt like on the Mono 25 is the power. I felt it lost pep compared to the Ultra. Unfortunately, Leo does not have a revision for another two and a half years for the ultra model.

Bill my offer still stands. Between Roĺlo and myself we can get enough people together to hear your products, just send a demo unit no strings attached. I'm only a few hrs away.

Well I thank you for that. We will have to talk. Especially what component you might be most interested in hearing.
The Harmonia is very versatile and will fit into many different configurations.

It would be very interesting to get some opinions/reviews from guys like Evan and Charles. I hope you can make it happen 🎶
