Lucky to get tickets to 3 shows in a row in October. Had to respect the no photos rule, but got some pics before each show.

The Bill Charlap Trio in La Jolla on Oct 11th. We were seated quite close to the stage.

Stanley Jordan solo show in Green Valley, AZ on Oct 25:


Stanley performed Eleanor Rigby and Stairway, among many others. Amazing.

At one point, he played the guitar and piano at the same time while singing!

Congratulations, Paul. I enjoy live events on occasion.

Sadly, not much happening in my small town. We had a winery offer great performers. But the winery was blending wines illegally and that ticked off the local board who then voted to permanently suspend their license.  So have to drive to Vegas now to see good performers.

I don't know all the particulars. A complaint was filed with the state liquor board and it wasn't significant enough for them to proceed and they closed their file. The local town board was under the impression all the wine was produced locally and not blended with store bought wine. That was being done for 3 years before it was discovered. That really upset the board as the winery has been around for years and in good standing. So they voted to permanently rescind the business license. Bad for our community because the shows were so good and they also put the guy out of business.
