It reveals more detail, is smoother, has a bit more depth on certain small venue recordings and presents the soundstage in a more realistic manner. Very glad I got it. Might be worth a try for Evan. This also confirms what a good performer that budget UPLINK ethernet from Amazon is.

Well, I stand by my preliminary assessment.But after 5-6 hours, things started opening up even more. Who woulda thunk it??

So I will report more tomorrow and enjoy more tunes right now 👍🎶

always live with a change for about two weeks, change back to the prior configuration and then assess the changes.  Keep what works and then move forward.

That sounds like a great method, Dave. I'd like to try this with my next cable purchase (haven't decided which one yet).

So many choices, my friend.  There's no one size fits all, because they are the final nuances in our systems.

I have some favs, though.

I am probably at 10 hours with Pete's ethernet cable and it's a treat. It is money well spent. I won't go into specifics as I expect it will keep evolving and improving. 

This all started when I realized I still had a 2' section of a generic ethernet cable still in place, from the TP Link to the iFi LAN iPurifier Pro optical isolation unit. That was replaced with the UPLINK ethernet from Amazon and now with the TWL.

If you have some free time and don't know what else to do, just check all your cables and make sure you don't have a cheapie piece of junk cable in as it can act as a huge bottleneck to great sound 🎶
