I would assume most that have spent any time in the pursuit of audio excellence would have figured out by now it's all about "synergy".  As I was lucky enough to have amps that you were familiar with, you were able to give me your opinion on what "might" work better in this application.  For anyone to draw a boilerplate assessment re your cables would in my opinion be a big mistake.

As they say..."try before you buy"; this is probably why you(and others) offer home trial periods!!  8)

FWIW, I don't believe a powder keg or anything else was ignited.  However, if my post is the keg to which you refer, it was actually John's comments that prompted me to post, not yours.

OK, spit on two silver, I am going to buy four silver instead two Violet, one for CDP, one for preamp, one for amp, and last one for my dishwasher. now I am a higher volume buyer, I have priority than you, wealthy Mike. :P  :P  :P

Let me say... I tried both Violet and Silver in my setup and prefer Violet for its bit more energetic presentation.
My components have tube rectified PS.

We had a bit fun here, hadn't we? As matter of fact, John suggested me to buy Violet terminated with Oyaide 079 for a warmer sound, and I just got a email from John that he already shipped cords, that is unbelievable, I thought I am going to wait at least two weeks.

Yeah Dan, I was really struggling over the decision of the purchase of the silver or the Violet.  I am hoping I made the right decision.  It is not the best time for me financially for making the purchase but with this kind of deal I felt it foolish not to.

I checked my inbox and nope no delivery email......I guess you win  :(   :)

You are right, Mike, it was a tough call for buying something that you have never tried them  in you own system, plus it is income tax season, after contributed a big amout of money into RRSP last month, I realy can't afford any thing over $700 US, and I'm still waiting for a refund for a pair of IC I returned them to Audio Metallurgy, which is over $300US.

John shipped cords via Xpresspost, it will only take two or three days to get to Winnipeg, if we are in same city, I can bring mine to your place or bring yours to my place to try out, do you live in Winnipeg?

Where abouts in town do you live?  I doubt you are my neighbour though as where I live probably doesn't have a whole lot of people paying over $800 for a couple of power cords.  I am a poor boy living in ghetto but just have a love for this stuff and the feeling that I get with the playback of high quality music.
