OK, let's try this again...

Open invitation to a G2G at my place in the heart of Durham, NC on Saturday, April 18th - 4pm 'till last person listening.

This will be a great opportunity to check out Grover's latest speaker and interconnect cables as well as whatever cool toys you care to listen to. I'll have plenty of liquid refreshments and will gladly accept donations to get some great pizza & calzones delivered from Pop's Backdoor just up the street.

So reply here if you can make it and what new jewels you might want to bring. You can find my system on AC via the URL in my sig line below.

Just wanted to do a quick bump to remind everyone of the G2G at my place on Saturday, April 18th.

In addition to the opportunity to check out Grover's speaker cables and ICs, I should have a Benchmark DAC1 Pre by then to throw into the mix. I'm real excited about being able to compare this unit to my Tact as well as to Ken's Modwright Transporter. Let's just see if all the praise this thing has received holds up. While I'm curious about the DAC, I'm even more interested to see how good the analog pre section is for my vinyl rig.

Be sure to post here if you'll be there or PM so I can send out directions. So far I've got Carl(man), Rich(idoo), Ken(bigfish8) and Steve (stereofool).

Actually "ouch is what my feet say about 6:00pm. After 8:00 they are screaming bloody murder. Looking forward to hearing what you think of Grover's wires.

Just a reminder about a get together at my place this coming Saturday - 4/18. If you need directions, drop me an email or ping me here and I'll send them. I'm easy to find. We'll have a chance to compare Grover's speaker cables to my JPS + biwire as well has Ken's HT Pro 9 SCs. Carl may be bringing along his Reality cables. With a little luck maybe we can get Shane to bring over his Aluminata as well.

I've also got Grover's SC. ICs as well as his SC ICs to compare.

We can also compare a Benchmark DAC1 Pre against my Tact and Ken's Transporter as well. I've got a Duet and also Shane's old trusty Oracle transport which has topped everything in the digital realm I've compared it to.

Hopefully, we'll get to do a bit of vinyl spinning as well. Feel free to bring along whatever floats your boat.

Sorry I can't make it tonight to meet some of the fine folks on this forum.

Have had a preplanned trip for today to take my folks to Tennessee's
Fall Creek Falls State Park in the other direction from the Smoky Mountains
and North Carolina, but will be thinking of the G2G...maybe another time...

Enjoy the listening to the various Grovers, etc. ...
