Got mine today and put 1 on my main service coming into my box and 1 over my circuit breaker. I also attatched 1 to my preamp P/C on the male plug. Can I rest 1 on top of my CD player over where the transformer is ? I don't want to open it up. That would leave me 1 more , any ideas ?

Stick one in the back of your ac receptacle where all the wires are squished in, if it will fit.!!
