Not from the Crack House per se, But I have found this series of jazz CD sets on Amazon that happen to be very good. The sets are from a label called Real Gone Jazz and they are putting out multi CD sets of artist based collections of classic jazz albums for dirt cheap. For example I picked up this week three Ella Fizgerald sets , each 4 CD and containing either six or seven complete albums each. And none of them cost more than $8 on Amazon. The liner notes are a bit sparse, but the albums are complete and the SQ is pretty darn nice. Can't beat it for 8 bucks. And in addition to vocalists like Ella, they also have sets covering other 50s jazz artists  like Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley and many more.

Definitely work checking out.

These three sets total 12 CDs and the following complete albums:

Vol. 1
Get Happy
Ella Sings Sweet Songs for Swingers
Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas
Hello Love
Mack the Knife: Ella in Berlin
19 complete albums, all foLet No Man Write My Epitaph
Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie

Vol. 2
Like Someone in Love
Porgy & Bess (With Louis Armstrong)
Ella Swings Lightly
Rhythm is My Business
Ella Swings Brightly with Nelson
Ella Swings Gently with Nelson

Vol. 3
Lullabies of Birdland
Ella and Louis
Ella and Louis Again
At the Opera House
Ella Fitzgerald at Newport
Ella in Hollywood

Did you end up taking a wrong turn Bill

Well...............

EVERYONE needs a copy of KoB, whether a jazz fan or not. Plus that looks like a better version, maybe 180g on silent vinyl?
