CAT pre has built in phono.
When I had a Tempest pre, I had to buy a CA 545(?) phono stage because the phono stage in the Tempest was unusable, never could get the songs, just hummed along.  :roll:

Excellent Evan I would love to hear that!
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

Should sound very nice and give you plenty of flexibility when you decide to upgrade to a LOMC. :thumb:
