This is the tour I wish I was still part of NYAR for.   Would love to hear the Melody gear.   One of the few commercial tube offerings that looks interesting.

No, I am not in NY.  I am still in Toronto.  I was just lamenting that I wish I still was in NYC so I could be part of the tour.  I think there are a couple of modern tube amp makers that I admire, and melody is one of them.  Line magnetic audio looks like another worth examining.

Does anyone have a pair of may be Raytheon 5670 for "loan"?  I need to see how the tube sounds.... Of course, WE396A's are even better, but it's damn expensive.....?

Hello Everyone,

For Lunch/Dinner my better half is going to make Italian food.  If you have any allergies please let us know so we can ensure that we have alternate food available.  We usually end up with way to much dessert so the boss said ask everyone not to bring any dessert and we will have it covered.

Plenty of great veggie based italian dishes :thumb:

System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

Right now she is planning to make either veggie lasagna or stuff shell.  Just your appetite.

Watching this thread evolve reminds of the time I made it over for another big bash. Deepak and family are the ultimate in hosts! Great co-ordination, endless supply of food, and a wonderful time all around.

Would love to have been able to make it to this one - it looks like it's going to be a doosey... I'll just have to "watch" virtually. :)

Just get the whole NC gang in a big van and come on over.  Just bring sleeping bags and I will find you empty floor space  :rofl:
