Cyrille Aimee - Wow!

I went to see the Hot Club of Detroit play over the weekend.   I love Django / Gypsy swing and this band was incredible.  It was Gypsy swing with a taste of Pat Metheny, Ornette Coleman and even Kronos Quartet.   Brilliant musicians!

But they also had a wonderful women singer, a French lady named Cyrille Aimee who was not only a pleasure to listen to and watch, but she did a fantastic solo recital using a loop machine, creating all the sounds and harmonies on the spot.
