My only problem with the show was that I couldn't stay nearly as long as I wanted and missed a lot of stuff.

The first place I went on Friday morning was the Classic Audio Speakers room.  The JBL Hartsfield replicas were playing.  I was shocked at how good they sounded.  Of course this was a very big room, $13K in amps, Stahl-Tek Ariaa DAC ($13K), Purist Audio cabling, (don't know what the preamp was), and field coil drivers w/power supply.  They were using the computer as a source when I was there.

Both individuals that were there couldn't do enough for me.  One asked me what I would like to hear. When I showed him my CDs, he found each album on the computer and played the cuts I wanted. John Wolff answered questions about the Hartsfields, the drivers and the field coil set up.  He also compared the Hartsfields with the T-1s.

Next was Volti Audio.  I had wanted to hear the Vittoras.  I thought they were very good (though not as good as the high $ Hartsfields and electronics).  The biggest problem I had was getting to hear some decent music.  Greg kept playing loud guitar music.  But he could not have been nicer. Very responsive and easy to talk to.  Veneer work on the Vittoras was flawless.  I would hope so for $17.5K.

It appears that the morning of the first day of the show is a good time to attend.
