FWIW, the 14th is Yom Kippur...

Looks like Yom Kippur is "passed" anyway, 28th is IN.

Let me suggest that we coordinate who's bringing what in terms of AT least the drinks, making it easier (as suggested by the host).  Of course, anyone bringing anything else/more should make it known also, so Jim can plan accordingly.  Thank you. Drool

Last time, I remember, I brought some Longans (Dragon Eyes), super sweet tropical summer fruit.  Not sure it was well-received (strange fruit to most).  It's again in season around here (mostly imported, tho I hear some come from FL now!).  Is Longan desirable for you guys (has anyone heard of it?)?  I will not bring if few like it.....  Or, I can bring something else. Beer Toast

Jim,

Sharen and I would like to visit.

Is there an audio theme?  CDs?  SACDs?

2nd system in the smaller room?

Hi Mike,
You and Sharen are most welcome.  No theme to speak of.  I don't have a vinyl rig or any LP's; so CD's are the only option.  My player will not play SACD's either.

The library, a small room, will have the Opera Callas monitors.  These are once-again sounding wonderful, after I replaced both woofers and tweeters.  I'll have a small digital amp and a tube amp, EL34, as well.  CDP is a Linn Majik.

The living room will have the Tannoy Glenair 15's with Jadis 50S amplifier and Naim CDP.  I also have ATC 19's with a Musical Reference RM5 tube preamp and a JOB 225 solid state amp.

                                                           Jim

To everyone:

I'll supply burgers and brats and something for vegans as well as beer and some red wine.  I'll have sides as well.  I always have a few spare soft drinks around but if you're picky BYO.

Thanks Jim!  I bought the Coincident Frankenstein 300b amps. They need more time but, are starting to sound very good with the Druid V's.

Best,

I am hoping to attend, baring work and/or EOTWE.
Can bring some manner of dessert and wine.

Sorry Jim Fed. laws prohibit transportation of scantily clad women across state lines.   :thumb:

What laws? I demand a recount! I denounce any laws that prohibit scantily clad women. I think you could probably wrap them in a blanket and remove said blanket upon arrival.

There are ways to circumvent those laws, my friend.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.
