Yes this record cleaner really sucks. Next come performance tests with LPs. i only connected the vac temporarily to ensure there was vacuum at the wand. I have been super busy with a home remodelling project and I do this in my "spare time". I believe the vacuum will be strong so I have a record clamp to keep the LP on the platter if need be. I  purchased Record Doctor solution for now.
