April 11th 2015 RAVE - Princeton NJ - 1 pm start

This time I am going to make it bit different than the previous 2 or 3 times.  My primary system will be setup for majority of the RAVE the way I listen to it on daily basis and later in the day we can swap equipment in and out if folks want to do that.  The primary system is most likely going to be in the living room (as you enter the front door to the left).  The other system will be in the basement and hopefully the living room system will not bleed into the basement system sound.

My primary system is setup as pc based audio system.

Please post either in the thread or pm me if you are able to attend.  Everyone is more than welcome to attend even though it is posted in the NY Rave subboard.

Speakers: Zu Audio Druid V
Amp: Triode Lab / Finale 2a3 SET (Sovtek / Shuguang 2a3, RCA/GE/Russian NOS 6sn7/6hc8, 5v4/gz32 rectifier tube)
Preamp: 4P1L DHP transformer coupled.
DAC - Lampizator Gen4.5 with DSD and support for PCM 384K
PC Audio Receiver - Lenovo M73 Tiny running Linux with Signalyst NAA application
Audio Music Player - Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 running Windows 8.1 with Signalyst HQPlayer converting everything over to 2xDSD
CD/SACD - Pioneer Elite DV59ai

Basement System

Speakers: Zu Audio Omen Def Mk1.B
Amp: Response Audio Modified Jolida 3205 (6550/kt88/el34 power tubes)
Preamp: Dodd Audio Unity Gain 6h30i/6jd8
CD/SACD: Pioneer Elite DV45a
Streaming: Logitech Duet

Feel free to bring equipment along to try in the based and swap away as you see fit and later in the day we could try different things in the main system.

If I get time I will set it up with eval version of Windows 2012R2 and we can compare the regular win8.1 to linux naa v/s win2012r2 to win2012r2 naa.
