I caught them last year at Durham's Carolina Theater.   I've been a long time fan of Bela Fleck for years and heard him at an outdoor concert years back as well.   But, there is nothing better than a small venue and for that, you can't ask for more than the Carolina Theater.   They've done an amazing job of restoring it and the acoustics are excellent - not a bad seat in the house.   I once sat next to last row in the 3rd balcony and it still sounded great.
