Our new home has a gas stove. our old one was Electric. Thankfully I saved my mom's old black cast iron frying pans. I will be using them again at the new place. Can't wait to taste the first pancake.

How so? My mom started using Corelle in the 70s as I recall. Never had a problem with it

 Well,good news actually. Never liked the sound of Teflon. Dry to my ears. V-cap Teflon cap anyone ? Teflon coated wire as well dry and too detailed.
