If any one has the opportunity to hear one of these amps do NOT pass it up. I am not easily impressed by most of the audiophile equipment I hear but this is an incredible amp. Very dynamic, layered, black background, tonally great, detailed with out harshness. I am still trying to find something I don't like about it. Even the price is great. I would take this over a Pass Labs in a heartbeat.

Just read some very positive reviews on this amp and used they go from $3,200 to $5,200. Would love to hear one for sure.

Nick,

Pretty tough to get it at $3200  but you are right low 4000s to $5k is a good range used and not exorbitant in the high end world. The amp is 150wpc, class A up to 20watts.  It has guts and plays like a much more powerful amp. Jeff Wells doesn't kiss ass and that is why he doesn't get the press coverage that other manufacturers get. I guess kind of a "pay to play". If you check out AVS Showrooms they say "If you don't have $30,000, buy this amp". I agree it's that good.

That is the kind of marketing hype that brings out a gigantic red flag. Who says a 30 grand amp is excellent, even good? AVS pushing the same old false logic, marketing, that more expensive is better.

Glad you gents like the Audio Innamorata.

Only if we presume you get what you pay for. I do think more often than not you pay for performance differences, not always but most of the time.

The Wells amps technical details are done by Scott Frankland, now with Bybee Labs, so they have a heavy dose of that magic dust inside. Most of us seasoned folks know him from Moore-Frankland tube products.

I owned an Innamorata for a few days myself  :)

Nothing nefarious :) Just took a flyer on it based on people's opinions I respect. It was not a good fit for me, so I sent it on its way. FWIW it was not easy to resell as not many seem to know about it. Expect ~$3k tops.
