I didn't get the digital cable because I do USB from laptop via Uptone Regen to DAC. I'm using RCA IC from DAC to passive pre.

   Would highly recommend TWL split USB cable. Bested quite a few USBs.

Yes, I agree but I just bought a split USB from hometheaterdoc. The intona regen + battery was a PITA. I kept having to plug it into the PS so that it would regain the signal almost every time. Much squatting behind my rig.
