Just picked this up at the crackhouse for $1.

Me too. Except I got mine for 53 cents during the customer appriciation day sale. 

Is it me or are you guys seeing a flood of used records hitting the market in the last few months? I makes for good times right now, but since the supply of old records is fixed, it makes me wonder if it will cause a shortage in the near future. 

I can just picture the conversation with my wife now....."But Honey, you don't understand, I had to buy 200 records, they may run out next year!"

Well, the owner of the crackhouse in Allentown tells me it's 1 person clearing out their classical collection, about 20 boxes so far, and he claims at least 20 more to come.

After that, who knows.

Really nice album. Very laid back feel, but intense melody and sophisticated vibe. Excellent sound, great feeling of space. Tone of piano and bass are solid and dark. Awesome side!

Paul Simon: One Trick Pony



I don't know how I missed this in the store, but this LP has a pretty significant warp along the outer edge. Everything played fine except for cut B1 which skipped twice as the stylus took off like a ski jumper. Other than that it is a nice album from both the music and SQ perspectives.

Damn, 53 cents just doesn't get you what it used to.
