Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops: The Fairmont at Copley Plaza

A promo CD given out by the hotel featuring cuts from several Lockhart/Pops albums.

I am a big fan of what Keith has done with the Pops. This disc is an excellent collection musically and SQ wise.

After hearing Rollo's system on Triode Pete's patio, I'm trying to snake my speaker wires out onto my deck, but they're too fat to fit unless I remove the screens, and I don't want to do that.

Gene,

Why don't you just get some cheap lamp cord type wire from Home Depot or Rat Shack just to the run out to the deck. No, it won't be the ultimate quality, but it will get you tunes out on the deck. And I'm sure no matter how badly it mangles the signal, it will still beat the heck out of puttingxa boombos out there on table.

I thought about that Tom, but no room behind the rack/amp to add more wire. Anyway, I got the screen off and the rest was a breeze, sat out drinking whiskey and listening to Bill Evans last night.

Cool 8)  No room boundries make for nice sound. Speaking of speaker cables the one's used at Petes were in wall shielded commercial wire. Cannot remember the brand, I need to ask Pete what they are.

Bernstein Century - Copland: Appalachian Spring, Rodeo, etc / Bernstein, New York PO
Aaron Copland (Composer), Leonard Bernstein (Conductor), New York Philharmonic (Performer) | Format: flac

On the deck with a great American composer's work led by a great American conductor, don't know why I never listened to music outside before. Oh wait, I was married, that's right.

SACD Hybrid

Not as good SQ wise as the Honky Chateau Hybrid disc (which is IMO outstanding), but good none the less.
