Must have been over 35 years since I've listen to this album.   

   A friend of mine, who used to mock me on how I would remove the album from the the sleeve so no fingerprints would get on the vinyl, begged me to lend it to him. Against my better judgement, I did. After several weeks went by I asked for it back. "Oh". he says. "I lent it to Tommy", a friend of ours. We both went to Tommy's house to retrieve the album. The album cover was in taters. Didnt bode well on the condition of the album   . I pulled one of the albums out in a way, ya know, that I wouldnt get my fingerprints on the vinyl. I was heartbroken. Scratches everywhere. The grooves on the cut, "Smoke on the Water" must have been played over a hundred times that they were almost entirely gone.
They were both dead to me  Lesson learned.

Not sure how I feel about the whole album. Lots of mixed reviews. I may give it another try.

My big find for the weekend.  

No, I did not pick this up from the Crack House  , but I did get it for way below what they are going for on line  and actually cheaper that the original selling price of the set. Not a bad deal deal for what has turned out to be a pretty rare and collectable set. And it sounds great too.
