Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade: Ansermet L'orchestre de la Suisse Romande.

There is a delicacy and an emotional thread running through this performance of Scheherazade that just draws you right into the music. As with Pictures, if I want to show off the capabilities of my system I pull out the Reiner, but when I want to sit down and purely enjoy the music, the Amsermet is hands down my go-to disc.

The last of the three Super Analogue discs in my collection, which is a shame because they really are fantastic sounding pressings. Unfortunately I became aware of this series just as they were going out of print and these were the only three that I have been able to snag.
