I saw this album being offered on ebay and figured it is on Proprius records, which is known for putting out good sounding records (Jazz at the Pawnshop, Canate Domino etc.) and I know the artist as Radka Toneff's accompanist on the "Fairytales" album, so maybe I would give this one a shot.  Then a little voice in my head said "see if it is on Tidal." And boy am I glad I did. This is all some kind of improvisational avant-garde solo piano. Some people may like it, but as far as I am concerned... yuck. YMMV

I don't mind buying LPs of things that are on Tidal, if it can get me better SQ on something that I like. But in this case I didn't like the music in the first place so all bets are off.

I guess this month's Tidal subscription earned its keep.
