Whoever can tell me (without doing an internet search) who Mike McGear is and what the significance of this album is will win a big dose of my admiration.

OK, one last chance. Anyone want to venture a guess before I reveal the answer?   

Mike McGear is Paul McCartney's brother.  This album is referred to as the lost Wings album as McCartney wrote (or at least co-wrote) 9 out or the 10 songs included on the original album and most of the studio musicians were members of Wings at the time.

And no I am not a music trivia genius, I heard the story on the Sirius Beatles Channel and then tracked down the album on Tidal.

Top shelf product. I have three of them so far, the two I just posted and Gill Evans, New Bottle Old Wine. All of them are pressed on dead quiet vinyl and  are superbly mastered (of course they were great recordings to begin with. Outstanding SQ and nice packaging as well. Not only are they great reiisues for the price, I think they are great reissues, period.

They get the Vampire seal of approval.
