OK, it's snowing out. Enough to stay home, but not enough to require massive amounts of shoveling. We knew the storm was coming so I basically cleared my calendar for the weekend, just in case it was bad. The tubes are warmed up and I have a pile of 5 lps and 12 CDs from the Crack House. and 6 discs from the library.

Life is good....  8)

The Movie Lover's Beethoven: George Solti. Vladimir Ashkenazy



A nice collection of Beethoven excerpts that were used in various movies. Nice sound good performances. Normally I don't care for discs that don't play an entire piece from start to finish, but I think this collection will make nice listening in the car for short trips around town when I wouldn't have time to hear the whole thing anyway.

I was out today at my favorite record shop and I found this Japanese Lp without
an Obi strip for $3.00 HOORAY for me
