Just got an email in from PREX, along with the 800 jazz vinyl pieces, they now have 4000 classical CDs, and over 1000 rock CDs. I may have to allot more time to this trip.

You might want to book a hotel room.  8)

I'm a bachelor this week. The wife and kids are on an Alaskan cruise so I'm home alone. Had Pete and Tom Mazz over last night for some fine tunes and hanging out. But today was all my own. Played a good 18 holes at Bethpage, then a dip in the pool to cool off. Then a walk into town to get some Thai for dinner and a stop at the local pub. Well, needless to say I ran into some local people and one beer led to another. Good beer too, we have a beer bar serving stuff you just can't buy anywhere. So now I'm home cranking the tunes. A beer or two more, some sipping Anejo Tequila and I'm dipping into my ruddy past. Pulling out the stuff I grew up with, and cranking it at 3 o'clock on the stimp meter.

AND LOVIN IT! Man this sounds good loud!!!

Side one of this one. Probably the best mini-moog solo Risk Wakeman ever played

Did I say this is all vinyl. Yeah, sweet baby!

Side 2 - very orchestral ... and spooky

Enjoy the Tequila Bob, but not too much!

The dog ran out of the room. I guess it is too loud for him

If you've never heard side 3 of this set before you really need to check it out.

Not too much ... it's sipping tequila. Really very different from the Cuervo crap that most people think is tequila.

Here's one most of you proably never heard of. Phil Collins on drums, but this is not anything like the pablum that most people associate with him. Prog Jazz Fusion at its finest.

I think I'm going to go for a dip in the pool after this one.

Back from a dip in the pool, 2 aspirin, and feeling like a new man. I seem to be getting more orchestral now

Next you know I'll be pulling out "The Planets", but I don't have that on vinyl. Oh no!

So now I'm listening to Mars (on CD) and Jupiter.

Next you know I'm going to want to put on Gladiator (these are just so damn similar), but I think my ears are going to require some nice acoustic guitar next. Geeting later and I'm getting mellower.

BobM

oh oh, I'm going back into Audiophile territory now (CD)
