Gerry Mulligan Plays Mulligan
Gerry Mulligan | Format: vinyl

Another reason to check connections from time to time. I have diy bi-wires, recently de-soldered connections from 1 to pull on techflex.

Just setup monitors on deck for 1st time, pulled wires out the window, made connections, and realized I had re-soldered the connections reversed. No, the 2 + and 2 - were still + and -, but reversed on the re-soldered wire. So black and red wires went to low jacks on 1 speaker, and for past few months to high jacks on other. The blue and white wires also reversed like this.

What a donk!

David Crosby - If Only I Could Remember My Name (CD)
- I heard such good things about this album that I had to pick it up from the library and give a listen. The Grateful Dead, Nash, Young, Jefferson airplane, Joni, etc. all guest on this record. I guess the whole San Fran groupies were in attendance. Still, it sounds like there were too many drugs going on, because on first listen the songs seem aimless and without hooks, like a mass sit in with guitars. I'll have to give another listen.

If you like the old, spacier Porcupine Tree, you may want to check out Storm Corrosion, which is Steve Wilson's new project with Michael Akerfeldt from Opeth. It is definitely on the softer and spacier and ambient side of prog, without the metal power chords. The reviews have been mixed, probably because people expected something more powerful and less ambient from this duo.
