Gene I found this on MOG

I found it in my pile of recent purchases, listening to it now.

Clean original Crown LP

No vocals, just piano trio and sax, from June 1942, a month before the 2 year musicians union recording strike.

First time I ever heard this. So far it's awful. Explains why the LP is so perfect.

Well said. It is very good easy listening music. I like their sassier earlier pop records better.

Bob in St. Louis

Gene Harris and Ray Brown.....

So good and so funky, it makes me wish I was born black.
These guys are in my top ten "all time" best artists.

This is one of those albums I'd take on that proverbial island people talk about.

Miles Davis ‎– Jazz Track

6 eye Columbia from 1958, cleaned it and still some surface noise, so a steaming next.

The playing is exquisite.
