I heard "Quiet City" for the first time on the radio last week. Copeland + Bernstein always a great combination!

A great chamber music album of Benjamin Britten's music, esp if you like solo oboe! Not easy to find solo oboe recordings, but oboe is one of the most difficult instruments to reproduce correctly, a real challenge for playback system. You'll hear your midrange flaws easily, if you know what oboe supposed to sound like. Close miked, great tone.

Prazak is an awesome string quartet. Try their Beethoven Quartet cycle!

Like a full bag of freetos, once I start on Dvorak, it's hard to stop.   This is a very good recording of LSO playing Dvorak 7th. Mid bass is very clean, excellent acoustics, good tempos.

The first one is good for the solo oboe, not recorded often.
