I saw this one in the dollar bin and was a little hesitant about picking it up. My experience with Soviet orchestras has been that they are a bit more stiff and structured that orchestra from other parts of the world. I was worried that this musical discipline would not mix well with jazz. But in the end I decided to give it a try simply because it was from MoFi.

Well boy was I taken back when I heard this for the first time. This is really some very legit jazz. I'm very glad I picked it up.
