As Capt Kirk he attempted to protect the universe, but with this album I think he is trying to kill the blues.

I'm sorry, but I am having trouble finding the words to describe exactly how bad the album is.

Shatner may have many talents, but if this album is any indication, music is not among them. 

Well, it was interesting to listen to a few songs.... There are more Shatner albums on Tidal including one that has a song called ... Beam Me Up

Is this the same as when he speaks/interprets the lyrics in his typical Shatner 'elocution' style? I thought this was part of the joke of the day post.

Well, I would say it's a combination of speaking and sometimes shouting. But I'm still a big fan of Star Trek and Mr Shatner 
It also reminds me of Clint Eastwood singing/talking in Paint Your Wagon....which I enjoyed and was unique at that time. I think that movie goes back to the 60s...

I was also a 'fan' of his, but much later during his TJ Hooker days. He also has a spoken word rendition of the Guns and Roses classic, "You Could Be Mine."  Now, that was wild.

I saw this in the rack at Infinity and grabbed it because I remember seeing this as a kid in my father's record collection.

It actually turned out to be a really nice record. The title pretty much sums it up as to what the music is and it is nicely recorded.

Enjoyable and very relaxing music.
