   We received our demo unit to evaluate. A marvelous achievement.  44.1 design from SPDIF and 24/192 from USB. No MQA, DSD, over sampling, upsampling. PRAT is off the charts good. The toe will be tapping all night long. This DAC can compete with DACs three times its price. A swedish wonder, so musical yet accurate. List is $5600 www.merason.com There is a Frerot model for $1250 list that is a giant killer no schitt.

  Yes I mentioned that. It is not the Aqua Formula xHD DAC. The Aqua is 3x more money. I would say it comes very close to the Aqua La Scala. WE will feature this DAC in our Astoria Queens listening room. It fits in between the Aqua La Scala.
