OK, that gets my vote for one of the ugliest and disgusting covers ever.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.

It gets my vote as one of the best alternative rock albums of the early 90s.

Not really, Tom.  I have a lot of musical interests outside of Classical and Jazz.

So this is something more than a mere side trip or diversion.  It's me getting back to some music that I very much enjoy but have not listened to in a while.

Heart Like a Wheel
Linda Ronstadt | Format: Vinyl

Just relaxing, the ex took son overnight, got the house to myself, think I'll take a snooze on the sofa.

Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits [Original recording]
Paul Simon (Author), Art Garfunkel (Author) | Format: Vinyl

Scored the original '72 vinyl for $3, as a single ding on side 2, not really audible. Crackie also had a newer, shiny copy, also $3, but the vinyl was so flimsy. I took the '72 copy.

And Tom, don't think I didn't debate taking both.  :-k

I'd rather be a hammer than a nail!

This ORG 45 RPM 180g reissue has really nice sonics...that are unfortunately marred in a few spots by pressing defects.  These records were pressed at RTI so I can't say I'm surprised by the blemishes.  This doesn't wreck the listening experience but in my view when you are throwing down $50 to $60 for an album the customer has every right to expect a clean pressing with no physical defects.
