Paint The Sky With Stars ~ The Best Of Enya

        CD

jsaliga

Analogue Productions 45RPM 180g vinyl Blue Note reissue.  This marks the first time I have heard this title on vinyl.  For years all I had was the CD (both the Ron McMaster remaster and the RVG remaster).  I can't come up with enough superlatives for this one.

Lou Donaldson: Blues Walk

Blue Note CD

Very disappointed with Amazon on this one. Found a dealer advertizing a used (supposedly mint) 180g LP copy of this album. I ordered it and when it arrived it was a stock paper thin Blue Note pressing from the early 70s. and not only was it a crappy pressing, but it looked like somebodies cat used it for a scratching post. Would not allow an LP that rough anywhere near my stylus. Contacted the dealer and he said he would refund the purchase price (but not the shipping) if I shipped it back a my expense. What a bunch of cr@p. He totally misrepresents what the item is and I have to eat shipping both ways. Not even worth the time and effort to ship is for what I would end up getting back. I should have know given the low initial price. Well thank God for feedback. This is going to be fun.

Anyway, this was a long way of saying I am stuck listening to the CD version for now.  :(

Dang, 2nd copy of this I bought, though this one on the Pablo label. My 1st copy pictured below.

Regardless, nice listening to on a crappy afternoon while I try to psyche myself up to go to the gym.

Did you get the Sansui at Jamie's today? Is it for Mrs. Eleazar? Now that the heat is in, are you finally going to make her the music room she wanted?

And aren't you glad you got the heat in?  :thumb:
