Last week I found a Fielder recording on London Phase 4, this week it is Deutsche Grammophon. Not sure if this is just a German release of one of the RCA recordings or something that the Boston Pops did directly for DG. Either way it still sounds good.

Of intersting note, because this was recorded indoors they did not want to use any kind of cannons, (it was felt that the high SPLs produced by the cannons would overload the recording equipment) so they used shotguns filled with blanks instead.
